Fábiánsebestyén: Provisional lead for Zoltán Lázár
On the first day of dressage at the international combined driving event in Fábiánsebestyén this weekend, the pony categories, horse singles and the first half of the horse pairs drove dressage today. Drivers entered the dressage arena in order to take their first steps toward qualifying for this year's European and World Championships.
It was a family affair in the first part of the horse pairs as Zoltán Lázár took the provisional first place and his brother Vilmos Lázár is currently second. József Dobrovitz jr. is on the third place at the moment. Twenty-five horse pairs will drive dressage tomorrow morning after which the final placings will be decided.
Liliána Szajkó (HUN) won by the single ponies ahead of her compatriot Dávid Lehöcz.
Zsófia Kovács drove the best dressage test in the pony pair class. She is followed by Austrian pony driver Karl Cvörnjek and Karl-Heinz Klasen (GER).
Mária Meskóné Orosz (HUN) finished on the first place in the single horse class with a score of 50,18. 2014’s Hungarian Champion Gábor Rondzik came second.
Tomorrow will be the second dressage day starting at 8.30hrs with horse pairs and horse teams performing their dressage tests.
