Lipica: Sun and rain on Dressage Day

The Dressage Day of the international driving competition in Lipica started early this morning and the temperatures went up as the day progressed. The OC had put in a siesta-break to avoid the worst heat. After the dressage restarted again at 16.00 hrs., Lipica Stud Farm was treated to a welcoming rain shower and some less welcoming thunder and lighting.

President of the Ground Jury Bert Jambon from Belgium was pleased: “We have seen quite a few very good horse pair dressage tests and all together it was a good day, despite the heat in the morning and in the late afternoon.”
