Nieuwe FEI menreglementen goedgekeurd

The FEI General Assembly approved the full revision of the FEI Driving Rules on 6 November.

The main objectives behind the revision was to increase the number of NFs and athletes involved in Driving and to make the discipline more attractive to sponsors, the media, and general public.
Key changes include:
• Introduction of new star levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 with a suitable qualification system. CAI1 and 2* are considered low level events; CAI3 and CAIO4* are high level events;
• Revision of Cones competition
• Allow the use of marathon carriages in Dressage and Cones up to CAI2*level;
• FEI officials: revision of the qualification requirements at each level (number of FEI officials required at each star level) .
