No WC Four-in-Hand in the UK in 2012

Great Britain has withdrawn its bid to host the 2012 FEI World Four-in-Hand Championships at Great Leighs Racecourse after the venue unexpectedly went in to administration in January. The organizers are currently looking into the possibility to organize a regular international event at this location in the future.

Germany and Hungary have also showed interest in the organization of the World Championships in 2012, but their bids are not officially confirmed. The FEI will allocate the World Four-in-Hand Championships 2012 in November of this year.
